That's not a direct Microsoft source, so it could be anyone's guess. Just wait until Microsoft start distributing downloads or media - you can almost guarantee Andre or myself or one of the MVP's will post here as soon as the public beta's ready.

P.S. Thank God for the fact that our Digital Cable, High Speed Internet and Digital Phone Service all come into our house on house on only one Cable. As a Result, Comcast would need to get a Court Order in order to Cut Our Cable.

There was actually someone (from Comcast) outside here last night just after Midnight, of course they left without doing anything, when they realized that our Comcast Digital Cable Service and our Comcast Digital Phone Service is coming into our house on the same cable as our Comcast High Speed Internet Service, just FYI. They would need to get a Federal Court Order in order to cut of our Comcast Digital Phone Service, also just FYI.

Why do you keep posting the same information over and over again? People can read it the first time you post it. Just reply to one person.
And for those who say I should just leave it be etc, I'm bored and not in a good mood :p

Yeh but you'll normally get the previous build about 2 months before hand, so you're always about 2 months behind. Having said that, seems that way with MSDN!

Exactly, so if sign up for Tech Net Plus and Beta 2 doesn't come out until either Late May or Early June, you very well could be waiting until your August Shipment to get Beta 2, when us MSDN Subscriber's will be playing with RC 1.

"Kevin John Panzke" wrote in message According to that Article, Microsoft will deliver Beta 2 to WINHEC Attendee's on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2006, and will then Release the Public Download on Saturday, May 27th, 2006. It also says that Microsoft is currently Compileing Release Candidate 1 Builds side-by-side with the Beta 2 Builds that they are Compileing, and that the Release Candidate 1 Builds are 542X Builds. He further notes that Beta 2 will most likely be Build 5383.5.

Gee, that is why I am signed up for the puhlic beta 2. There are many reason why I would choose Technet VS MSDN. Personally, I feel that if I payed for MSDN, it would be a waste because I am not a developer. However, I am into the support of MS software in my field. Granted I may not get beta versions when MSDN does, but to me, getting beta is just a plus to the whole program.

Applied but still waiting to be accepted for the Vista Beta Testing group. Can't wait to be able to play and help make it even better.

Exactly, so if sign up for Tech Net Plus and Beta 2 doesn't come out until either Late May or Early June, you very well could be waiting until your August Shipment to get Beta 2, when us MSDN Subscriber's will be playing with RC 1.
"Zack Whittaker" wrote in message Yeh but you'll normally get the previous build about 2 months before hand, so you're always about 2 months behind. Having said that, seems that way with MSDN!

Would it not just be easier to release a date of when the public beta is possibly going to be released even if they said that it could be from the 27th May to 30th May for example. I think that way it would save these conversations and headache for everyone.
Effectivly what I am saying is lets have it from the horses mouth so to speak rather than 3rd parties.
